Release Manager

We are looking for a talented release manager, who wants to grow their career, to join our team. This role requires someone flexible, adaptable, self-driven and coming from a technical background. If you are looking to work with a high calibre team, we want to hear from you.

The role of release manager will work with multiple key stakeholders on our client’s site, you will need to be confident in setting up reporting and providing meeting updates.

  • Owning the release management lifecycle and ensure successful implementation of 6 weekly release cycles.
  • Leading the coordination of resources, documentation, operational readiness, project status reporting, process management, and timelines.
  • Working with the QA team, ensuring they have the correct scope and guidelines and that standards are met.
  • Planning release windows
  • Document, agree and adhere to design release guidelines that should be implemented across the company.
  • Managing resources, timelines, and the overall quality of the process throughout.
  • Providing stakeholders with accurate reporting.
  • Manage risks that affect releases.
  • Develop a communication plan for the project and ensure all key parties are notified and informed throughout the project.
  • Manage the progress and measure it throughout
  • Delegate to the release team
  • Execute change fall back procedures
  • Minimum of 3 years release or project management experience.
  • Knowledge and experience working in a methodology such as ITIL, Scrum, Agile, PMI or Prince.
  • Very good organisational skills, logical and efficient thinking and strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of stakeholders, including senior executives, managers and subject matter experts.
  • Understanding of Continuous Delivery and continuous integration.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple teams to ensure tasks are completed in time with the release schedule.
  • Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Project, Excel, and Visio.
  • A degree-level qualification in Computer Science or a relevant field.

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our team based in Limerick. This role requires Telecommunications experience and is initially a 6 month contract. If you are looking to work with a high calibre team, we want to hear from you.

As a result of our expanding client base, we are looking for an experienced project manager with expertise in OSS and BSS development and deployment and understanding of FttX design.
