We are looking for a Test Manager

We are looking for a Test Manager to join our expanding team. If you are looking to work with a high-caliber team and tackle challenging test management projects, we want to hear from you. Our client is optimizing and enhancing its Workday Recruiting and ATS processes using Workday PRISM and Extend, as well as integrating financial/commercial data from Oracle EBS. To support the Design Phase of this initiative, we need a skilled Test Manager who can lead and develop testing strategies, build relationships with key stakeholders, and manage the entire end-to-end testing process.

Responsibilities

Plan

  • Develop and define a comprehensive Test Strategy and Test Plan.
  • Build and foster long-term strategic relationships with senior stakeholders across the business and programme teams.
  • Gain a deep understanding of our client’s industry and business needs to ensure the application design is optimised for testing.
  • Consult with business stakeholders to design testable solutions for Workday and Oracle systems.

Execute

  • Manage the end-to-end testing lifecycle, from the design phase through to execution and deployment.
  • Lead the creation of business-specific end-to-end test scenarios and define standards for test script development, deployment, and reuse.
  • Oversee the specification of the test environment to ensure it meets the business requirements for execution.
  • Manage test resources, both business and technical, to ensure smooth test delivery.

Deliver

  • Provide continuous updates and recommendations to senior leadership for system functionality optimization.
  • Ensure the quality, accuracy, and consistency of the testing processes, and manage the integration between Workday and Oracle systems.
  • Lead the team through the critical build, test, and deploy stages with a view to potential Go-Live in Q4.
  • Manage testing within a highly complex architecture with multiple data sources.

Sounds good? What do you need?

  • 7+ years of experience in Test Management, ideally within the Pharma/Life Sciences industry (experience in this sector is a bonus but not mandatory).
  • Experience in Workday (particularly Workday Recruiting and ATS) and ERP systems (e.g., Oracle).
  • Test Management Certification (e.g., ISTQB Advanced or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in developing test strategies and managing the full testing lifecycle for **complex, integrated systems
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to develop and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Experience managing testing teams in a hybrid work environment, with on-site requirements for 2 days per week at the client’s Head Office in South Dublin.
