We are looking for a business development and sourcing executive

The Project Foundry is looking for a high-energy, passionate, and experienced business development and sourcing executive who will work with our top-class commercial and talent teams. We are growing at pace, and you will play a critical role in accelerating the speed at which we scale in Ireland and other regions.

As a Business Development Executive, you will deliver our message on how we develop and deliver world-class service to our clients with conviction.

Responsibilities

Plan

  • Investigate, learn, and maintain a high level of relevant domain knowledge to have meaningful conversations with senior technical and business leaders
  • Develop and maintain up-to-date and accurate market mapping and competitor intelligence
  • Conduct and perform ongoing research into market and technology/innovation developments geographically to stay abreast of best practice
  • Develop talent acquisition strategies in multiple locations
  • Plan on how to best support the business to build and maintain relationships in the identified sectors and geographies

Execute

  • Prospect for potential customers using various direct methods such as calling and face-to-face meetings, and indirect methods such as networking at relevant sector-related events and social selling
  • Prospect for new candidates to build pipeline
  • Opportunity development and management using our codified sales process, methods, and tools
  • Managing inbound phone and email inquiries following a qualification process to identify prospect/candidate needs and assist accordingly
  • Using our sales tools to create and track lead activity, accurately documenting and communicating information gathered during qualification process calls
  • Qualify prospects against company criteria for ideal customers and sales

Deliver

 

  • Consistently deliver against qualitative and quantitative activity and new business development targets.
  • Deliver and manage the transition and handover of new clients to Heads of Sector for effective ongoing relationship management and account growth
  • Source and handover relevant candidates to talent partners
  • Meeting monthly and quarterly targets on response time to inquiries, non-revenue related inquiries, and leads passed to sales and talent reps converting to opportunities and placements
  • Provide feedback to company management on market trends, competitive threats, unmet needs, and opportunities to deliver greater value to customers by extending company offerings
  • Be a positive representative of the company and its brand in the marketplace

  • 3+ years’ success in a business development, selling, and sourcing role
  • Fluency in English and Portuguese is necessary with a third language beneficial
  • Articulate, credible, and confident, willing to take ownership and accountability with strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Effective communicator with the ability to build and maintain relationships, influence, and negotiate up to and including at the senior level across multiple functional areas
  • High energy and driven to achieve and exceed targets
  • Commercial awareness
  • Structured and organised with excellent time management skills
  • Resilient with excellent objection handling skills
  • Collaborative team player (with excellent interpersonal skills)
  • Excellent market research and “white space analysis” skills to identify prospective clients and contacts
  • Willingness and ability to familiarise yourself completely with our services, case studies, and success stories
  • Strong skills using MS Office – Word, PowerPoint, and Excel with excellent (verbal and written) communication and presentation skills
