The Junior Infrastructure Engineer will be strong technical experience with networking with experience in VMware, Citrix, Office365, Active Directory, Storage and Backup Technologies. Server knowledge and experience is important also.



  • Breadth of knowledge in VMware, Citrix, Office365, Server, Active Directory, Networking, Storage, and Backup Technologies
  • Ability to understand business needs and translate them into a technical solution
  • Strong documentation and organization skills.
  • Ability to work across multiple large projects at the same time


  • Good documentation ability including capturing clients’ requirements to produce HLD
  • Self-driven with the ability to prioritize tasks based on impact analysis
  • Generate System Topologies
  • Multitasking changes and issue resolution
  • Bringing your thoughts and ideas to the team for future projects
  • Upskilling and exposure to multiple cloud technologies


    • Client escalations point for issues, leveraging the team when required
    • Client management with weekly check-ins
    • Provide technical actions for project implementation
    • Act as a central point of contact for clients to manage issues within current projects and existing systems
    • Being the voice of the client internally
    • Bringing your thoughts and ideas to the team for future projects


    Sounds good? What do you need?

    • 1-2 + years of experience as an Infrastructure Engineer or Level 2 IT Support professional, preferably in a Cloud Environment
    • Degree or master’s in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field of study.
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
    • Very good organisational skills, logical and efficient thinking, and strong attention to detail.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of stakeholders, including senior executives, managers and subject matter experts.
    • Very strong VMware experience with 6.x and above
    • Very strong Veeam 9.x experience including WAN Accelerators
    • Strong networking experience with MPLS, NLB, DNS, VLan, Routing, Redundancy, Firewalls
    • Strong experience with M365 SaaS suite including SharePoint
    • Good experience with Citrix XenApp and DaaS
    • Good experience with SSL certifications including renewals, private key management, and Certificate Authorities.
