We are looking for a Bid and Tender Lead

The Project Foundry is looking for a high-energy, passionate, and experienced Bid and Tender Lead who will work with our top-class marketing and commercial teams, on all aspects of the bid and tender cycle. You will work with our leadership team in creating competitive proposals and tender documents that will highlight our services and expertise as a business.

You will develop a key understanding of our business and take ownership of the bid and tender process. Communication, organisation, and detail-oriented are key skillsets for this role. We are a rapidly growing organisation with proposals and tenders being an important part of this growth so you will be an integral part of the scaling of The Project Foundry

  • Co-ordinate and produce all proposals (RFI, PPQ, ITT, RFP etc.) responses whilst assembling a proposal team that has the skills to prepare and submit a winning proposal.
  • The introduction and implementation of all necessary proposal procedures and governance.
  • This is a highly networked role that requires an ability to work under pressure, to challenging deadlines and have attention to detail.


  • Proven ability in planning, producing, and delivering compliant proposals within a complex business environment.
  • Scheduling and running proposal kick-off meetings, leading storyboarding sessions, facilitating key review meetings / final document review, co-ordinating proposal governance / sign off, document production, and delivery of the completed proposal.
  • Experienced in designing, managing, and updating a Content Library or Proposal Automation Solution.


    • Delivery of compliant, professionally produced proposals within defined timeframe.
    • Coordinate and review / edit proposal input from a variety of stakeholders, typically involving contributions from Practice Leads, Sales, Commercial and Marketing.
    • Communicate and influence at a senior level.
    • Champion collaboration tools, document management and version control best practices.
    • Provide advice on flow, language, and grammar to content owners.
    • Consolidate sections and/or documents developed by others team members into the required tender format.
    • Maintain, make available and backup master document sets.
    • Ability to coach sales teams in persuasive writing and proposal best practice.
    • Document template management in line with company branding.
    • Strong time management / prioritisation skills.
    • Strong written English language skills.

    • Structured and organised with excellent time management skills and attention to detail
    • Resilient with excellent objection handling skills

    • Willingness and ability to familiarise yourself completely with our services, case studies, and success stories
    • Strong skills using MS Office – Word, PowerPoint, Excel with excellent (verbal and written) communication and presentation skills
