We are looking for a Director of Marketing

The Project Foundry is looking for an exceptional, passionate, and detail-oriented Director of Marketing who will work with our Leadership team and will develop and deliver our multi-year marketing and brand strategy. We are growing at pace, and your marketing strategy will be critical to accelerating the speed at which we scale.

Responsibilities

Plan

  • Develop marketing strategies and programs in collaboration with sales, SMEs, and client feedback
  • Develop a proactive marketing and communications strategy for The Project Foundry aligned to company objectives and client needs
  • Develop a deep understanding of our proposition, clients, and the services we provide
  • Understand key marketing performance metrics and tracking tools to provide market research, forecasts, competitive analyses, campaign results, and client trends to translate results into actionable insights for the marketing team
  • Collaborate with the business team to uncover insights and strategies to develop and implement marketing and branding strategies for new and existing products, internally and externally
  • Identify short-term and long-term scheduling, budget, and resource needs, including the development and management of an annual marketing budget, profit/loss projections, expenditure spending, and other financial considerations
  • Plan the Lead Generation Strategy with our CCO and Account Directors

Execute

  • Manage conception, development, and implementation of annual marketing plans and strategies, product concepts, and promotional programs to drive interest and sales
  • Attend and/or participate at conventions, conferences, and tradeshows, preparing engaging displays and collateral as needed, and providing post-event reports and analysis
  • Uses specific marketing strategies and media (e.g., print, broadcast, digital) to launch and position products and services in a sector
  • Develop and manage marketing budgets
  • Manage the company website, continuously optimising and upgrading/ refreshing as per the strategic planning
  • Maintain and build our brand, ensuring you manage the message portrayed in every touchpoint to the external market. Must have a sharp eye for detail!
  • Manage agency providers, consultants, freelancers, and other suppliers, including contract negotiation and management
  • Lead a marketing team, including hiring, training, workloads, schedules, and deadlines

Deliver

  • Expertise in understanding internal and industry standards, as well as the changing business environment
  • Applying industry expertise and commercial awareness to drive financial and operational performance within a division or region
  • Oversee and grow the marketing department, supporting the commercial team in identifying revenue opportunities within our established client base and new accounts
  • Spearhead the strategic and tactical execution of marketing campaigns, including design of test/control segmentation, implementation of tests, tracking, results reporting, analysis, and recommendations
  • Support the establishment and growth of a target market share
  • Deliver insights from conducting customer, brand, and product research initiatives
  • Monitor and report on effectiveness and ROI of the marketing strategy and activities monthly, quarterly, and annually
  • Review and appraise the performance of content using analytics tools
  • Develop a client advocacy strategy

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role with a successful track record in creating and delivering marketing strategies
  • Experience managing and developing marketing budgets
  • Communication Pro
  • Team leadership experience
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
  • Experience with lead generation, digital and print marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing
  • Strong creative outlook

 

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

  • BSc/BA in business administration, marketing, and communications or relevant field
  • Established portfolio of media and PR contacts
  • Thorough knowledge of web analytics (e.g., Google Analytics, Web Trends, etc.) and Google AdWords
